Your Opportunity at SECURE

As our Shop Hand, you will be responsible for general facility upkeep, maintenance and organization of equipment, vehicles, and materials.

 

This role is based out of Casper, Wyoming

Our specialty chemicals offer our customers production chemicals, drilling fluids, drilling waste management, and fluids & solids solutions. Work Environment

This position is a full-time position working in a shop environment.

A Day in The Life

  • General maintenance and organization
  • Wash equipment that returns from the field
  • General maintenance of shop tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using a hand truck.
  • Load / Unload trucks for maintenance and delivering supplies.
  • General service/maintenance work may require operating automated machinery and various power/hand tools.
  • Inspect all assembly parts and report defective material or questionable component conditions to management.
  • Assist the Facility Supervisor.
  • Assist with special projects and cover for multiple positions when staffing levels are low/production or operating demands are accelerated.
  • General housekeeping of the facility
  • Other general labor duties as required.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or GED
  • Previous washing or shop laborer experience
  • Previous Forklift/front-end loader/ Crane experience would be considered an asset.
  • Supply drivers abstract with the ability and willingness to obtain a CDL
  • Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 100lbs for extended periods.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and customer service
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to perform the job productively, effectively, and efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Must have positive communication and interpersonal skills.
